This composition was created on Procreate. It depicts the last Byzantine Emperor Constantine XI Palaiologos (1453)
The style I followed for this composition was a realistic approach of the human and horse figure, along with some cartoonish elements, in order to make it look more approachable.
The Main city and the walls where created on Maya.The main figure with the horse are designed and painted on Procreate and then the whole composition was finalised in Photoshop.
My inspiration came after whatching the series ''Rise of Empires'' , and the historical symbolisms are based on the George Phrantzes, a late Byzantine Greek historian, chronicle.
